The former spokesman to
ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign, Femi Fani-Kayode, has
presented himself at the Abuja headquarters office of the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This development follows a dramatic raid on Mr. Fani-Kayode’s Maitama home by EFCC agents last week.
Mr. Fani-Kayode is at the center of a probe on N840 million he
received a few days before the 2015 presidential election. Law
enforcement authorities have accused Mr. Fani-Kayode of trying to evade
their questions which is what lead to their raid last Friday.
Mr. Fani-Kayode arrived at the EFCC headquarters at 9:30am this morning.
